Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam H.E. Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof and Secretary General of ASEAN H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi at the parlour of Credentials Hall of the Office of the SAC Chairman this morning.

At the meeting views on results of the ASEAN Leaders Meeting held on 24 April, efforts to set up the ASEAN community, realization of suggestions on initial analysis of ASEAN, ASEAN’s undertakings for the availability of COVID-19 vaccines, Myanmar-Brunei relations, terrorist acts of the unlawful terrorist organizations, CRPH and NUG, in Myanmar, erroneous voter lists of the 2020 multi-party general election and findings, holding of election after the restoration of peace and stability in the nation and Myanmar’s cooperation in humanitarian aid programs were exchanged.

Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Union ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Ko Ko Hlaing and officials. The Foreign Affairs Minister of Brunei Darussalam and the ASEAN Secretary General were accompanied by Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN Mr. Garry Ramtee Bin Haji Ibrahim and officials.
