Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Daw Kyu Kyu Hla visit retired senior military officers and their wives who will attend the 78th Anniversary Armed Forces Day parade

Retired senior military officers and their wives who will attend the 78th Anniversary Armed Forces Day parade on 27 March are now temporarily staying at Bayintnaung Yeiktha in Nay Pyi Taw.

 
Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla paid a courtesy call on them this evening.

 
During the visits the Senior General and wife cordially greeted them individually and looked into the requirements after inquiring about their health and social needs.

 
The Senior General also dis-cussed political developments of Myanmar, strengthening of genuine disciplined multi-party democracy, harmonious efforts of government, Tatmadaw and people to build a Union based on democracy and federalism, all-round efforts for national development, perpetuation of language, religion, cultural heritage, and production of effi-
cient human resources, endeavours centred on interest of nation and people, preservation and conveying of the fine traditions of Tatmadaw, and programs to constantly fulfill food, clothing and shelter needs of Tatmadaw members and their families. Retired senior military officers expressed their pleasure to attend the Armed Forces Day parade and recognition of endeavours to shoulder the State duties in multi sectors without overlooking any areas and gave counsel.
