Yangon zoological garden arranges private tours in COVID-19 period

Private tour arrangements are being made to visit the Yangon Zoological Garden starting from September 1 during the COVID-19 period, according to the Yangon Zoological Garden.

Although the zoo is currently closed due to COVID-19, private tour plan is arranged for people who want to book a private tour with friends and family.

Each group will include at least 2 to 10 people and it is arranged to 30 groups per day.

There is no need to worry about social distancing as this private tour is for exclusive family and friends.

The private tour program offers a two-hour tour of the zoo and a buggy tour around the zoo, with a private tour priced at Ks-5,000 per person.

In addition, arrangements are being made for those who want to feed animals and do-nors. This is a daily food donation program for a total of 1,392 animals and 135 species at the zoo.

The daily food cost for these animals is Ks-1,000,000: Ks-400,000 for herbivores and Ks600,000 for carnivores. Donors are allowed to feed the animals themselves, but cannot feed the carnivores themselves, so they will be allowed to visit at the time of feeding.
