The Tatmadaw Engineering Corps is carrying out upgrading tasks at Pwekauk Waterfall in PyinOoLwin for the recreation and convenience of public members, and the site was inspected by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win this afternoon in accompany with senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air), senior officers from PyinOoLwin Station and officials.
At the briefing hall of the waterfall, the Vice-Senior General and party heard a reported by an official on laying of tar on the entrance road and bridge construction. Next, the Vice-Senior General and party inspected the upgrading tasks at Pwekauk Waterfall.
The project includes tarring of the road with 12 feet in width and 4,050 feet in length by widening it to 18 feet and construction of a reinforced concrete overpass with 60 feet in length and 30 feet in width with a 6-foot pavement in place of the old Bailey bridge.
Then, the Vice-Senior General and party visited the Military Hospital in PyinOoLwin where they asked about the treatment of officers and other ranks, gave words of encouragement and presented food to them.
