Honorary awards of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services conferred on winners in honour of 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of Armed Forces Day

As the Myanmar Tatmadaw has been serving interest of the State and citizens for 75 years, the 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of Armed Forces Day falls on 27 March 2020, today.

As a gesture of honouring the 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, 10 kinds of honorary awards of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services were conferred on officers, other ranks and substitute civilian servants who have been significantly discharging orders and duties assigned by the State and the Tatmadaw during the 75 years period and dependent wives totalling 58,483 and troupe-wise award on a troupe.

With regard to the honorary awards of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Defence Services honorary gallantry award was conferred on 1,489 persons, good servant honorary award on 56,746 persons, individual honorary award for fine arts on 26 persons and troupe-wise award on one troupe, honorary literary award on 54 per-sons, honorary award for business on 31 persons, honorary award for technology on 58 persons, honorary award for healthcare on four persons, honorary award for sports on 29 persons, honorary award for natural disaster prevention and rescue on 36 persons and honorary award for advisers on 10 persons.
