1. Illegal arms, ammunition, mines, communication equipment and accessories of NUG and CRPH and their subordinate group, PDF, declared in the Republic of Union of Myanmar as terrorist groups, homemade guns, mines and accessories used in committing terrorist acts and arms, ammunition, mines, communication equipment and accessories sent by some EAOs of border areas into the country to make political and military gains are being exposed and seized every day.
Likewise, such illegal tools and equipment were also seized from terrorists carrying them in various ways or exposed according to the information given by them.
2. Additionally, arms, ammunition, mines, communication equipment and accessories and other prohibited goods entrusted by some terrorists taking advantage of the naiveté of citizens in various forms were exposed and seized.
3. In order to protect all citizens who have no relations with terrorism from facing legal action, they are urged to handover illegal arms, ammunition, mines, communication equipment and accessories and legally banned goods including narcotic drugs in case they are keeping or are in possession of them at their homes, apartments or places they own in various forms or under certain reasons to the relevant ward/village administration body offices or the nearest security forces not later than 31 December 2021. Any citizen found with such illegal or banned tools or goods after the said date will face legal action in accord with the existing laws.
