Reception and dinner hosted to mark 74th Anniversary Independence Day
Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted a dinner in commemoration of the 74th Anniversary Independence Day on the lawns of the SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
Frist, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than New and union ministers and wives welcomed those coming to the dinner.
On arrival at the venue of the dinner party, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla were welcomed by Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than New and Union ministers and their wives and together with them, the Senior General and wife cordially greeted the chairmen and representatives of political parties.
Also present on the occasion were Vice-Senior General Soe Win, SAC members General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San, General Maung Maung Kyaw, Lt-Gen Moe Myin Tun, Mahn Nyein Maung, U Thein Nyunt, U Khin Maung Swe, Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Moung Har, U Sai Lone Hsai, Saw Daniel, Dr Banya Aung Moe, Lt-Gen Soe Htut and U Shwe Kyein, Secretary Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway and Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and their wives, Union Chief Justice U Tun Tun Oo, Constitutional Tribunal Chairman U Than Kyaw, Union Election Commission Chairman U Thein Soe, union ministers, the Union Auditor -General, honorary title recipients, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman and the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission chairman and their wives, the Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and wife, deputy ministers, SAC advisory body members, chairmen of the political parties and representatives, family members of the honorary title recipients and guests.
At the 74th Anniversary Independence Day commemorative dinner, fireworks were set off.
Before and during dinner, the Senior General and wife and those in attendance enjoyed songs sung by the artists of the Fine Arts Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture to the accompaniment of the Myanmar modern music band.
After the dinner, the Senior General and wife cordially greeted those present.
