Press release issued for recognizing teachers discharging teaching duty with a spirit of parent and three kinds of appreciation over students
Teachers in Myanmar have been recognized as members of the five noblest persons in traditions for many years. Such kind of deeply respectful acts cannot be found in any country across the world. Those teachers with prestige dutifully serve to teach their pupils as their offspring with goodwill, hobby and sacrifice in line with the five kinds of teacher ethics: “teaching, giving advice, science lectures they also give, while providing safe education, and showing students the correct path”.
As infection of COVID-19 pandemic can be placed under control to some degree, schools at primary, middle and high levels under the Department of Basic Education were peacefully and stably opened in entire Myanmar for 2021-2022 academic year at the same time as of 1 June.
Those wishing to gain the political profit focusing on the opportunity of a single party, politically extreme NLD members and their followers, NUG, CRPH and PDF commit social punishment, incitement and intimidation against educational staff to join the CDM activities and destroy schools with an explosion of mines and homemade bombs and with setting fire to the schools with the attempt to cause difficulties for children in learning education during the period of preparations to open the schools and current teaching period. They also impose threats and disturbance attacks to the teachers not to discharge teaching duties. As such, some teachers were injured and some were dead in the regrettable events, and the State Administration Council showed its condolences together with the respective families over the injured and the dead.
The State Administration Council heartily honoured and recorded the teachers serving their duties with utmost efforts not to fail to academic duties in order to turn out the educated youths for the State with the noblest spirit as the teachers included in the five infinite grateful persons by following the restrictions on shame and frightening to commit misdeeds and unfairness amidst difficulties, crises and disturbances.
The security troops will take special security measures for the teachers who strive for teaching the students, the posterity of the State, to have educational knowledge and high education qualification, and parents are requested to cooperate with the security forces in ensuring peace and tranquillity of the community and peaceful learning of children with security awareness and conscience.
