Vice-Senior General Soe Win offers rice, edible oil, salt, grams and alms donated by families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) to monasteries in PyinOoLwin, Pakokku

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and commanders of military commands, went to monasteries in PyinOoLwin and Pakokku this morning and evening and offered rice, edible oil, salt, gram, Padonma soap, alms and cash for nine prerequisites donated by families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air).

The Vice-Senior General first arrived at Dhamma Thahaya Sasana Centre and paid homage to members of the Sangha led by Presiding Patron of the centre, Upa Ukkatha of Shwegyin Nikaya Maha Nayaka Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Rector Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Nandamalabhivamsa and offered rice, edible oil, salt and gram donated by families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), masks manufactured by Myanmar Economic Cooperation, Padonma soap produced by Padonma Soap Factory of Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Company Limited, alms and cash for nine prerequisites to the Sayadaws before asking after the health of the rector Sayadaw.

In the evening, the Vice-Senior General and party went to Maha Bawdi Mandaing Buddhist Learning Centre and Weponlayama Pali Tekkatho Monastery in Pakokku and paid homage to members of the Sangha led by Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Sasanadhaja Dhammacariya Patisambhidamagga Pali Paragu Bhaddanta Vinaya of Maha Bawdi Mandaing Buddhist Learning Centre and Sayadaw of Weponlayama Pali Tekkatho Monastery member of the State Central Working Committee of the Sangha Ganthavacaka Dhammacariya Bhaddanta Janeya and offered rice, edible oil, salt and gram donated by families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) , masks manufactured by Myanmar Economic Cooperation, Padonma soap produced by Padonma Soap Factory of Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Company Limited, alms and cash for nine prerequisites to the Sayadaws before asking after the health of the Sayadaws.

The Vice-Senior General and party donated cash for nine prerequisites and alms including 50 bags of rice, 88 viss of edible oil, 77 viss of salt, 132 viss of gram, 3,000 masks and 90 pieces of Padonma soap to Dhamma Thahaya Sasana Centre, cash for nine prerequisites and alms including 40 bags of rice, 70 viss of edible oil, 62 viss of salt, 106 viss of gram, 4,000 masks, 120 pieces of Padonma soap to Weponlayama Pali Tekkatho Monastery and cash for nine prerequisites and alms including 30 bags of rice, 53 viss of edible oil, 46 viss of salt, 79 viss of gram, 3,000 masks, 80 pieces of Padonma soaps  to Bawdi Mandaing Buddhist Learning Centre.
