Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win delivers speeches to officers, other ranks, families in Taikkyi, Hmawby stations

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Yangon Command and officers, met and delivered speeches to officers and other ranks and their families in Taikkyi and Hmawby stations separately at respective station halls today.

First, the Vice-Senior General delivered speeches on national issues including implementation of five future tasks and nine objectives, two objectives for prosperity of the country and abundance supply of food, water and basic needs and two political objectives of strengthening of genuine and disciplined multiparty democracy system and building a union based on democracy and federal system, latest developments in the current political, economic, defence, social and international relations areas and efforts for everlasting peace of the SAC.

In connection with the Tatmadaw, the Vice-Senior General elaborated on the well-being of Tatmadaw families and distribution of surplus products to local people at cheaper prices thanks to adoption and implementation of battalion-owned and manageable-level agriculture and livestock breeding policies since the assumption of duties by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, welfare measures taken for food supply, shelter, education, health and transportation, the needs to develop security awareness and conscientiousness to perform duties around the clock, matters related to constant implementation of four tasks for strengthening the Tatmadaw and tasks for achieving happy military career so that officers and other ranks and families can do right deeds, which come from right knowledge. Then, the Vice-Senior General attended to the needs reported by individual officers, other ranks and families in coordination with responsible officers.

Afterwards, the Vice-Senior General presented foodstuffs for officers, other ranks and families from respective stations to responsible officers.

After the meetings, the Vice-Senior General and party cordially greeted the officers, other ranks and families who attended the meetings.
