Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Special Envoy for Asian Affairs H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun of Minister of Foreign Affairs of China

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Special Envoy for Asian Affairs H.E. Mr.Deng Xijun at the parlour of the Office of the Chairman of the SAC in Nay Pyi Taw this morning.
During the call, they warmly discussed peace negotiations with ethnic armed organizations for domestic stability, China's assistance for the peace process, the need to cooperate for prevention of narcotic drugs, recovery of trade and commodity flow between the two countries, measures taken for stability in border areas, development of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, the need to further promote economic and multisectoral cooperation between the two countries, political developments in Myanmar and international affairs and regional stability.
Also present at the call together with the Senior General were Joint Secretary of SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials and the special envoy was accompanied by officials from the Embassy of China to Myanmar.
