Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe cordially met with one Independence Mawgun Second Class award winner and four Independence Mawgun Third Class award winners, totalling five who attended the 78th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Parade ceremony at Bayintnaung Yeiktha in Nay Pyi Taw, and hosted a tea party for them this morning.
During the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and wife, the Chief of the General Staff (Army,Navy and Air) and wife and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief asked after the Independence Mawgun award winners individually, spoke words of encouragement and presented them cash rewards with edible bird’s nest.
Next, the Vice-Senior General and wife had tea and snacks together with the Mawgun award winners.
