Dinner hosted in honour of 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla hosted the reception and dinner in honour of the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day 2023 at the square of Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
Start of the dinner, fireworks in commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day were launched from the Armed Forces Day Parade Ground and Bayintnaung Villa.
Also present at the reception and dinner were SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung and wife, the SAC Secretary and wife, the SAC Joint Secretary and wife, SAC members and wives, Union level officials and wives, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, families of Thirty Comrades, families of retired commanders-in-chief of defence services, retired senior military officers, Independence Mawgun first, second and third class award winners, advisers, deputy ministers, retired Tatmadaw member ambassadors, Nay Pyi Taw Council members, military attaches of the foreign missions and officials, representatives from ethnic armed organizations which have signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA), chairmen and officials from political parties, families and relatives of Aung San Thuriya title winners, officers and other ranks who secured the Thiha Thura, Thura and military honorary medals and gallantry medals and families, members of Myanmar War Veterans Organization, transformed people’s militia, original people’s militia, officials from border guard central advisory control committees, Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade and Myanmar Red Cross Society, officials and staff from ministries, YMBA, Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation, Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association and Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central), artistes who participated in the TV play in honour of the Armed Forces Day, winners in the military and marching songs, poem, short story and novel contests, well wishers, Myanmar Press Council, Myanmar Theatrical and Music Associations and Thay Nin Ga Institute for Strategic Studies, members of University Training Corps, faculty members and students from the University for Development of National Races and guests.
First, the Senior General and wife cordially greeted those who attended the reception and dinner.
Before and during the reception and dinner, the artistes from the Myawady Entertainment Troupe of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare under the Office of the Commander-in- Chief (Army) and other artistes performed song entertainments.
After the dinner, the Senior General and party cordially greeted the attendees, and fireworks were launched in commemoration of successful completion.
The Senior General, wife and attendees watched dances and songs presented by male and female military personnel under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare to the accompaniment of the Myawady Band in Thabin Hall of Zeyathiri Beikman.
After the entertainments, the Senior General and wife presented the flower baskets to those entertainers and cordially greeted the attendees.
