Passing out parade of Thura Company’s 126th Intake of Officer Training Course of Tatmadaw (Army) Officer Training School (Bahtoo) held

The passing out parade of the Thura Company’s 126th Intake of Officer Training Course of Tatmadaw (Army) Officer Training School (Bahtoo) was held at the parade ground of the OTS this morning, addressed by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win on behalf of Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.

Also present on the occasion were Daw Than Than Nwe, wife of the Vice-Senior General, Chief of the General Staff (Army,Navy and Air) General Thiri Pyanchi Sithu Maung Maung Aye and wife, Shan State Chief Minister Zeya Kyawhtin Sithu U Aung Zaw Aye and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commanderin-Chief, the Eastern Command commander and wife, senior military officers from Bahtoo Station and their wives, parents of the graduate offices, instructors and teachers from the OTS (Bahtoo) and invited persons.

First, the Vice-Senior General took the salute of the cadet companies, and inspected them.

The cadet companies saluted the Vice-Senior General in slow march-past and quick marchpast.

Next, the Vice-Senior General presented a silver sword to Cadet No.2 Cadet Maung Maung Myint Myat from the 126th Intake of Thura Company who won the Best Cadet Award.

Then, the Vice-Senior General delivered a passing out parade speech on behalf of Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.

Afterwards, the Vice-Senior General took the salute of the cadet companies and left the parade ceremony.

After the parade, the Vice-Senior General Thiri Pyanchi, together with General Maung Maung Aye, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and the commander of Eastern Command, met the outstanding award-winning cadets and their parents at the parlour of the guest house and spoke words of honour.
