    Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Commander-in-Chief (Army )Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by wife Daw Than Than Nwe, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services, the commander of the Northeast Command and party, spoke words of encouragement of temporarily displaced local residents, who have been taking shelter at Thiri Mingalar Mansu Shan Monastery in Lashio this evening.

First, the Vice-Senior General and wife and party arrived at the monastery and paid obeisance to Presiding Sayadaw Agga Maha Ganthavackka Pandita Agga Maha Kammathanacariya Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dr Punnananda.

Then, the Vice-Senior General and wife offered donations to the Sayadaw, who presented Dhamma gifts to the Vice-Senior General and wife.

Afterward, the Vice-Senior General and wife presented clothes, rice, edible oil and foodstuffs sent by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister for temporarily displaced local residents to officials, who accepted them on behalf of the local residents.

Then, the Vice-Senior and wife cordially greeted the temporarily displaced local residents, who are taking shelter at the monastery.
