Residents warmly greet security forces in Kantbalu Township

Armed insurgents and so-called PDFs terrorists have torched state-owned buildings, detained and killed residents who did not support them by accusing them of being informers, extorted money from residents and destroyed road and bridges by detonating bombs in towns and villages in some regions and states.
Tatmadaw personnel, members of the Myanmar Police Force and the people militia have defeated the armed insurgent and so-called PDFs terrorists out of the spirit of sacrificing lives for the stability of the country and peaceful lives of the people and performed local security duties.
Today, security forces that are protecting the life and property and socioeconomic life of residents in Kantbalu Township in Sagging Region were warmly greeted and supported by local residents, departmental staff and monks with victorious Eugenia, garlands and traditional drum bands and it is learnt that security forces are conducting counter terrorism operations in accordance with the Rules of Engagement- ROC and the Law of Armed Conflicts based on four provisions of the Geneva Convention.
