Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander- in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received a delegation led by Lt-Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM,Commander of the III Corps of Indian Army at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here this morning.
During the meeting, cordial discussions were centred on cementing of friendly relations and ongoing cooperation between armed forces of the two countries, and bilateral cooperation to ensure peace, stability, security and development along the common border. Afterwards, commemorative gifts were exchanged and documentary photos taken.
Present together with the Vice-Senior General were Commander of North-West Command Maj-Gen Than Htaik and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief.
The III Corps commander was accompanied by Indian Military Attaché Col Jaswinder Singh Gill and officials.
