Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla visit and greet retired senior military officers and wives who will be attending 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day Parade

    Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla visited and greeted retired senior military officers and their wives who will be attending the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day Parade and are currently staying at the Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw this morning.

At the meeting, the Senior General and his wife paid respects to the retired senior military officers and their wives individually, wished them good health, asked about social and health needs and made coordination to fulfill their needs.

During the meeting, the Senior General spoke about state of maintaining good traditions of the Tatmadaw, construction of the Maravijaya Buddha Image, the world's tallest sitting marble image, and Maravijaya Buddha Garden, the state of measures being taken by the State Administration Council for peace and stability and all-round development of the nation and preservation for long-term existence and durability of religion and cultural heritage. The retired senior military officers expressed their pride and joy in participating in the Armed Forces Day military parade. They also said that they supported and recognized the efforts for the nation’s responsibilities from all sides.
