Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Ambassador of Cambodia to Myanmar

    Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of Cambodia to Myanmar H.E. Mr. CHUM Angvichet, who is leaving the country after completion of his duties, at the parlour of the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon.

During the call they frankly discussed matters related to friendship and diplomatic ties between Myanmar and Cambodia, exchange of goodwill visits, trade between the two countries, promotion of tourism, social and cultural sectors, boosting cooperation in other sectors and preparations for holding a free and fair multiparty democracy election in Myanmar.

After the discussions, the Senior General and ambassador exchanged gifts.

Also present with the Senior General were Joint Secretary of the SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials while the ambassador was accompanied by officials from the embassy.
