Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepts Credentials of Ambassador-Designate of Sri Lanka

Ambassador-Designate of Sri Lanka to Myanmar H.E.Mrs. Ponnamperuma Arachige Prabashini Ponnamperuma presented his Credentials to Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the parlour of the Credential Hall of the Office of the Chairman of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw at 10.45 am today.
They cordially discussed bilateral friendly relations and diplomatic relations, learning of members of the Sangha and nuns from Myanmar in Sri Lanka, offering of religious titles to venerable members of the Sangha from Sri Lanka, cooperation in development of tourism industry, enhancement of bilateral trade, cooperation in agriculture and pharmaceutical production, and promotion of cooperation in defence sector.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar posed for documentary photos.
Also present at the ceremony were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, and Director-General of the Protocol Department U Wunna Han.
