State Administration Council Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win holds talks with Deputy Minister of Defence of Russian Federation; cordially meets families of embassy and military attaché office

State Administration Council Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, currently in Russian Federation, held discussions with Deputy Minister of Defence of Russian Federation Colonel General Alexander Vasilyevich Fomin yesterday afternoon at the Ministry of Defence.
Also present together with the Vice-Senior General were Lt-Gen Aung Soe of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the military attaché and senior military officers.
The Russian deputy minister was accompanied by officials.They cordially discussed continued cooperation to further enhance amity and friendship between Myanmar and Russia and the armed forces of the two countries and the Russian assistance in multi[1]sectors including military technology, education and health. After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and the Russian deputy minister exchanged gifts.
The Vice-Senior General and party proceeded to Myan[1]mar Embassy in Russian Federation and cordially met families of the embassy and military attaché (Army, Navy and Air) office. In his address, the Vice-Senior General explained in detail the need to help one another as they are discharging national duties together in a faraway foreign country, further cement bilateral relations between the two countries, serve the national interest from the sectors they are assigned to and be loyal to the State and the ministry as good State service personnel.
He then presented gifts and cash awards to families of the embassy and military attaché office through Ambassador U Lwin Oo and Military Attaché Commodore Kyaw Soe Moe.
