Over 7,000 people in Maungtaw get 1st dose  of COVID-19 jab

HEALTH officials administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines to local  people at designated  places in Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday.  

Vaccination activities were documented by the General Administration Department followed by  measuring body temperatures, blood pressure, and monitoring oxygen levels by healthcare officials.

Vaccines were given systematically to the local people, and only those with normal health  conditions were inoculated. Waiting for about 30 minutes after being vaccinated, people were given  healthcare education and then allowed to leave.

As of 5 November, 450 people had been vaccinated with the first dose of the COVID vaccines,  and thus a total of 7,055 people had been double jabbed by 5 November accordingly to the guidelines  of the Ministry of Health.
