A total of Myanmar nationals stranded in China (Taipei) arrived back to Yangon with the third relief flight of China Airlines this mor-ning.
In accordance with the instruction of the National Level Committee for Prevention, Control and Treatment of COVID-19, Myanmar Consulate General in Hong Kong arranged the third flight to bring back Myanmar nationals stranded in China (Taipei) including those who have difficulty finding a job, those who visited China
(Taipei) to receive medical treatme-nts, missionary monks and sailors who employment contracts have expired to Myanmar.
Students who have completed their courses, 14 patients and their families, a baby and those who paid a visit there and they left Taipei at 7 am local time and arrived in Yangon at 9.45 am this morning.
The returning Myanmar nationals have been quarantined at designated places and hotels of the immigration department and the health depart-ment for 14 days. They are required to be quarantined at their home for another 7 days. The Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Yangon Region Government made necessary arrangements for them.
The consulate general in Hong Kong has arranged flights of China Airlines for 203 Myanmar nationals stranded in other countries. The fourth relief flight has been scheduled for 4 October.
