Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla attends final match and prize-giving ceremony of 2022 Region and State U-25 women’s football match

The final and prize-giving ceremony of Region and State U-25 women’s football match organized by the Sports and Physical Education Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs was held at Wunnatheikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon in accord with the COVID-19 prevention and control rules attended by Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla.
Also present were SAC members General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San, Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Mahn Nyein Maung, Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, U Moung Har, Saw Daniel and U Shwe Klein and their wives, Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and wife, Chairman of Constitutional Tribunal U Than Kyaw, Chairman of Union Election Commission U Thein Soe, Union ministers and their wives, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr Maung Maung Naing, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, directors-general, departmental officials and staff, officers, other ranks and families of battalions and units under Nay Pyi Taw Command and football fans.
The Senior General and wife and party and attendees watched the final match between Rakhine State and Shan State teams.
After a close contest, the Rakhine State team beat the Shan State team 3-2.
At the prize-giving ceremony, SAC member U Shwe Klein presented the best goalkeeper and cash award to Ma Toe Yadana Su of the Rakhine State team, SAC member U Saw Daniel best back award and cash to Ma Phyu Phew of Shan State team, SAC member Mahn Nyein Maung best player and cash award to Ma Hla Myat Thu of Rakhine State team, SAC member U Moung Har best midfielder and cash award to Ma Ingin Howe of Mon State team, SAC member Jeng Phang Naw Taung, best forwarder and cash award to Ma Nang Phyu Phyu The of Shan State team.
SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun then presented cash award to fourth prize winner Yangon Region team, SAC member Admiral Tin Aung San individual medals and cash award to third prize winner Mon State team, SAC member Daw Aye Nu Sein individual medals and cash award to second prize winner Shan State team, and SAC member General Mya Tun Oo individual medals and cash award to first prize winner Rakhine State team.
Later, SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla presented cash award and championship trophy to the Rakhine State team.
A total of 289 footballers of 13 teams took part in the U-25 region and state women’s football match held from 7 to 21 January.
