Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received Chief of the Army Staff of India General MM Naravane, PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC at Zeyathiri Beikman, here, this morning.
Also present at the call together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in- Chief (Army). General MM Naravane was accompanied by Indian Defence Attaché to Myanmar Colonel Ketan Arun Mohite and officials.
Both sides cordially discussed further strengthening of the ties between the two armed forces of the two countries, training cooperation and information sharing and cooperation in border eace, stability and security.
Vice-Senior General Soe Win hosted a lunch in honour of the Indian delegation led by Chief of the Army Staff of India General MM Naravane at Park Royal in Nay Pyi Taw.
