Vice-Senior General Soe Win offers rice, cooking oil, salt, gram, alms donated by families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) to monastery, nunnery in PyinOoLwin

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Central Command Commander Brig-Gen Ko Ko Oo, the commander of PyinOoLwin Station and senior military officers, offered rice, cooking oil, salt, gram, Padonma soap and other kinds of alms and cash for nine prerequisites donated by families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) to Shwesinmin Nunnery and Yadana Manaung Monastery in PyinOoLwin this afternoon.

Vice-Senior General Soe Win and party paid homage to presiding nun Daw Nandasingi and nuns from Shwesinmin Nunnery and abbot of Yadana Manaung Monastery Joint Secretary of Mandalay Region Sangha Nayaka Committee Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Bhaddanta Kavinda and members of the Sangha. The Vice-Senior General and party then offered rice, cooking oil, salt and gram donated by families of the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), face masks produced by Myanmar Economic Corporation and Padonma soap from Padonma Soap Factory by Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Company Ltd and other kinds of alms and cash for nine prerequisites to the nunnery and monastery.

Today’s donations were 50 bags of rice, 88 viss of cooking oil, 77 viss of salt, 132 viss of gram, 6,000 masks and 500 Padonma soap cakes for the nunnery and 50 bags of rice, 88 viss of cooking oil, 77 viss of salt, 132 viss of gram 3,000 masks, 100 Padonma soap cakes, alms and cash for nine prerequisites for the monastery.
