Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, their entourage, the chief minister of Shan State, the commander of North-East Command and party, paid obeisance to Thiri Mingalar Mansu Shan Monastery Sayadaw Agga Maha Gantha Vacaka Pandita Agga Maha Kammatthana Cariya Agga Maha Saddhammajotika Dhaja Dr Bhaddanta Ponnya Nanda in Lashio this morning and offered alms to the Sayadaw.
First, the Senior General and wife, accompanied by the entourage, arrived at the Thiri Mingalar Mansu Shan Monastery and were greeted cordially with traditional dances.
Then, the Senior General and wife paid obeisance to the Thiri Mingalar Mansu Shan Monastery Sayadaw and offered the marble replica of the Maravijara Buddha Image, rice and alms to the Sayadaw.
Afterward, the Senior General and wife planted a commemorative Lumbini sal tree in front of the three-storey Thiri Mingalar Dhamma Ratana building.
Then, the Senior General and wife and party offered day-time meals to monks studying at the monastery led by the Sayadaw.
Afterward, the Senior General and wife and party accepted Dhamma gifts presented by the Sayadaw and meditated on Ovada delivered by the Sayadaw.
