Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win visits military officers and other ranks, members of Myanmar Police Force and people’s militia forces who were wounded while serving national defence and security duties, gives words of encouragement to families

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by wife Daw Than Than Nwe, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the North-East Command commander and officials, visited military officers and other ranks, members of Myanmar Police Force and people’s militia forces, who were wounded while serving national defence and security duties, at the local military hospital in Lashio, Shan State (North) this morning and gave words of honour and encouragement.
First, the Vice-Senior General and wife and senior military officers, who accompanied them, arrived at the hospital and were welcomed by the hospital commandant and officials.
The Vice-Senior General and wife and party asked after the injury conditions, medical treatment, recovery rate, and improvement of health of officers, other ranks, MPF members and people militia forces, who were receiving treatment at the hospital, and looked into the requirements of officers and other ranks. The Vice-Senior General and party also gave them honorary cash awards, food and warm blankets.
Moreover, the Vice-Senior General presented cash awards for hospital staff through the commandant.
The Vice-Senior General and wife and party cordially gave words of encouragement to wives of soldiers and family members staying at the local battalions and units in Lashio and looked into their requirements through coordinated measures. He then presented clothes, kitchen utensils, cash assistance and foodstuff, provided by the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services for them.
