A local killed and ten others including four children wounded in heavy weapon attack launched by KNPP/KNDF and PDF terrorists on Loikaw

A combined group of KNPP/ KNDF and PDF terrorists fired heavy weapons at Loikaw, Kayah State, on 4 July.
On 4 July evening, combined group of KNPP/KNDF and PDF terrorists launched heavy weapon fire at technological University, Myakalat Hill, Thiridaw junction, and many other places in Loikaw, Kayah State.
Heavy weapon shells landed at Lawdhamma ward, Nant Bawwon (A) ward, Ywadanshe ward, and Kyauktaung ward and killed on local resident.
Other 10 locals including four children were also wounded in the attack.
Those who were hit by heavy weapon fire were rushed to local military hospital for medical treatment.
In fact, KNPP/KNDF and PDF terrorists launched heavy weapon attacks on residential areas including wards and villages in Loikaw, Kayah State, with the intention of frightening the locals who were earning a living peacefully and destroying the government administrative machinery. Security forces will continue their counter-terrorism operations with local cooperation for peace, stability and rule of law on Loikaw region.
