Politic is an influential magazine of the Russian Federation that only publishes limited editions specifically for cabinet members, political parties and parliamentary members of the country, and it is a magazine President Vladimir Putin never miss reading. The Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the Victory Day of Great Patriotic War (75th Anniversary) held in the Russian Federation on 24 June this year.

Yangon receives most Japanese investments in Myanmar

INVESTMENT

Japan’s investment in Myanmar has increased and most of Japan’s investment has gone to Yangon Region, according to vice-president  of  the  Union  of  Myanmar  Federation of Chambers of Com-merce and Industry (UMFCCI) Dr Maung Maung Lay.

The Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Yangon has received as  much as US$-2 billion in investment from Japan, the largest amount in Yangon Region. Japanese investment in Myanmar was just over US$-600 million in March, 2016  and  it  has  tripled  in  four years.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives Ambassador of the Netherlands to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Wouter Jurgens

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador of the Netherlands to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Wouter Jurgens, who had completed his tour of duty, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this afternoon.

Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Ambassador of the Netherlands to Myanmar was accompanied by Second Secretary Ms. Linda van dar Horst.

Tatmadaw True News Information Team meets media at press conference

Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun from the Tatmadaw True News Information Team met with media at the Defence Services Museum, here, this afternoon to hold the Tatmadaw press conference and replied to queries raised by media.

Before the press conference,officials from the Directorate of Medical Services of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) performed measuring of body temperature of those present at the press conference and systematically asked them in designated distance.

Aids for prevention, treatment and control of COVID-19, hospital equipment donated to Coco Island Township People's Hospital

The Tatmadaw donates medicines, medical supplies and supplement nutritious foods for contributing to prevention of COVID-19 to specialist hospitals, general hospitals, district hospitals, township hospitals, station hospitals and rural health centres across the nation during the period of COVID-19. This afternoon, Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) donated aids for prevention, treatment and control of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and hospital equipment to the People's Hospital in Coco Island Township.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Tin Aung San, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw, senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Commander of Yangon Command Brig-Gen Nyunt Win Swe and officials, inspected the local naval base in Coco Island Township, Yangon Region, and met with local elders and people at the town hall this morning.
