THE celebration of Royal Thai Armed Forces Day was organized at Park Royal  Hotel in Yangon yesterday and attended by Lt-Gen Thet Pon of the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Yangon Command Commander Maj-Gen Nyunt Win Swe, senior military officers, the military attaché and guests.

Ofcials welcome back Myanmar returnees at various borders

MYANMAR nationals from abroad are being welcomed at various border  crossings this month.

On 19 January, a total of 176 returnees 90 males and 86 females came back home through Muse, northern Shan State and 10 returnees six males and four females  through Chinshwehaw, respectively. One male also came back home through Laukkai and 179 returnees  124 males and 55 females through Tachilek.
