THE officials used Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines to vaccinate the middle and  high school  students aged 12 and above in Nanyun Township in Naga Self-Administered Zone  of Sagaing Region yesterday.

Township administration officer U Arkar  Tin Oo, township education officer  U Kyi Tun,  headmaster U Aung Hlaing Win and teachers  participated in the vaccination programmes.

HEALTH officials administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines to local  people at designated  places in Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday.  

Vaccination activities were documented by the General Administration Department followed by  measuring body temperatures, blood pressure, and monitoring oxygen levels by healthcare officials.

The price of domestic gold bar rose up to above K1.8 million per tical (approximately 16.33 grammes), according to Yangon Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA).

The price of domestic gold is high right now because of the depreciation of the Myanmar Kyat in the local foreign currency market.

The tomatoes produced from Aungban of southern Shan State fetch good prices in Myothit Township of Magway District, according to a local merchant.

The six-wheel tomato trucks usually enter the municipal market of Myothit once every five days and the prices are also high. The tomato prices were between K700 and K1,000 per viss about two weeks ago and now the price becomes K1,400 per viss, said Ma Htay Oo, a tomato trader.
