People can observe the mural paintings from Bagan to Kon-bang eras at the religious edifices in Pakhangyi ancient city in Yesagyo Township of Magway Region, said U Myint Thein, deputy director of Department of Archaeology and National Museum (Magway Branch).

Kyayyoegon, ShweUmin hillock and Wakha hillock can be seen in the area where the people resided in the stone age. Then, 330 religious edifices from Bagan to Konbaung eras are located there.

Maha Anthtoo Kantha Pagoda is one of the most attractive destinations for travellers in PyinOoLwin. Due to the disasters for years, some parts of the pagoda had become deteriorating.
